Banksy in real Life! Banksy VS Nick Stern

L.A. Fotograf Nick Stern hat die Arbeit des weltweit bekanntesten Streetart-Künstlers Banksy im wirklichen Leben neu umgesetzt. Der gebürtige Brite Nick Stern, war monatelang damit beschäftigt Requisiten zu sammeln, um die umstrittene Kunst von Banksy ganz legal auf Film zu bannen.“You Are Not Banksy” ist eine Fotoreihe zu den bekanntesten Werken des Streetart-Künstlers, einschließlich der sich küssenden Plozisten, Jesus mit Einkaufstüten und die Mona Lisa mit einem RPG.Nick Stern sagt selbst: “Ich bin immer von Banksy Arbeit fasziniert gewesen und dachte, es wäre cool zu versuchen, einige seiner berühmtesten Bilder mit der Kamera umzusetzen.”

Los angeles-based british photographer Nick Stern reproduces the work of the widely recognized and prolific street artist banksy with his series 'you are not banksy'.

The pieces re-enact famous artworks using real people to emulate the lionized scenes through staged photography. the project echos renowned images such as 'snorting copper', 2005, the original currently located on curtain road in shoreditch; 'dog', which was created in october 2010 and located in southwark, london; and 'pulp fiction', also in london near old street tube station. stern captures the detail of each iconic stencil in a studio using props and models, bringing them to life.

Nick Stern: “I have always been intrigued by Banksy’s work and thought it would be fascinating to try and recreate some of his most famous images on camera.”
